はじめに
Villa Kasashima en.は香川県丸亀市の沖にある離島「本島」にあります。
本島は、潮の流れが速い瀬戸内海の大小28の島々からなる”塩飽諸島（しわくしょとう）”に属する島。
戦国時代には「塩飽水軍」として活躍する乗組員を多く輩出し、その拠点として栄えました。
また、本島は織田信長、豊臣秀吉、徳川家康ら3人の名だたる天下人に認められた島で、島の中での自治を許されていた島でした。
江戸時代には海運で栄え、今も歴史情緒あふれる文化財の宝庫として知られており、
海運業の発展とともに船大工の技術も高まり、その名残は現在も島のあちこちに息づいています。
瀬戸内海に囲まれた穏やかな気候と大自然、そして懐かしくも風情あるまち並みの中で、
ちょっと都会の喧騒から離れて、自分だけのプライベート時間を過ごしてみませんか？

チェックイン
・ご宿泊日の午後2時から午後4時までにチェックインしてください。午後４時以降になる場合には、事前に当施設管理者までご連絡ください。
・チェックインの際は、当施設の管理者「HonjimaStand」の店舗窓口において、施設利用についてのご案内をさせて頂きます。
チェックアウト
・ご宿泊日最終日の午前9時から午前11時までにチェックアウトをお願いいたします。
島内送迎
・島内の移動は、周回バス、レンタサイクルのみとなっております。チェックイン後には施設まで、チェックアウト時は施設から当施設の管理者「HonjimaStand」の店舗までの送迎を、当施設のスタッフが行います。
予約のキャンセル・変更の方法
・予約のキャンセル、予約期間の変更については、ご予約いただいた予約代行会社の規定に沿って、手続きをお願いいたします。
・予約期間変更は、元の予約より予約日数が長くなった場合には差額料金を追加、日数が短くなった場合は減った期間をキャンセルとして扱います。
注意事項
・本島には、公共交通機関、タクシー、コンビニ、スーパー、ガソリンスタンド、銭湯、病院等はございません。あらかじめ入島までに、飲食物や必要な生活用品等ご準備の上ご来島ください。
・建物内は全ての場所において禁煙となっております。
・当施設管理者が認めた場合以外、宿泊者以外の入館はご遠慮いただいております。
・ペット同伴はご遠慮いただいております。

Introduction
”Villa Kasashima en. ” is located on Honjima, a remote island off the coast of Marugame, Kagawa Prefecture.
Honjima is part of the “Shiwaku Islands,” a group of 28 islands of various sizes in the Seto Inland Sea, where the tides are swift.
During the Warring States Period (1467 – 1615), the island produced many sailors who were active in the “Shiwaku Suigun” (Shiwaku navy), and prospered as a base for this navy.
The island was also recognized by three famous shoguns, including Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu, who were allowed autonomy within the island.
During the Edo period (1603 – 1868), the island prospered from shipping and is still known as a treasure trove of historical and cultural assets.
With the development of the shipping industry, the skills of ship carpenters grew, and remnants of these skills can still be found here and there on the island today.
You will enjoy the mild climate, great nature, and tasteful Japanese townscape surrounded by the Seto Inland Sea.

Method of payment
Fees will be paid on site. Please pay the fee indicated in the notice sent by the booking agency.
If additional charges are incurred after your stay, we will send you an invoice. In such a case, please transfer the amount by the deadline specified on the invoice.
Check-in time
Please check in between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm on the day of your stay. If you wish to check in after 4:00 p.m., please contact the facility manager in advance.
Upon check-in, you will be given information about the use of the facility at the store counter of HonjimaStand, the manager of the facility.
Check-out
Please check out between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on the last day of your stay.
Transportation to and from the island
The only public transportation on the island is the circular bus and rental bicycles.
Our staff will provide transportation to and from the hotel and the facility “Honjima Stand” where you check-in and check-out.
How to cancel or change a reservation
Please follow the rules and regulations of the reservation agency that made the reservation.
If the reservation is made for a longer period of time than the original reservation, the difference in price will be added. If the reservation is made for a shorter period of time, the reduced period will be treated as a cancellation.
Precautions
There are no public transportation, cabs, convenience stores, supermarkets, gas stations, public baths, hospitals, etc. on the main island. Please come to the island prepared with food, drink, and other necessities before entering the island.
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the building.
Only guests staying at the hotel are allowed to enter the building unless approved by the facility manager.
Pets are not allowed.
